Disable Dice Animations

Add an option to turn off dice rolling animations - no effect to roll actions (clicking, dragging to chat, etc.) but simply print the results (including all details) in chat as it is now, just turn off the rolling animation.

Ideally this would be DM setting only, so that when selected, it is switched off for everybody (to eliminate hang time) and cannot be altered on the player side...

thanks for the consideration

Does it always affect everyone? If not, let people decide on their own if they want the animations.

although cool it takes up resources I'd be cool with a just a random number generator

Shame this isn't an option, it really speeds the game up not having to wait for dice roll animations.

There was an extension that handled this, but the developer seems to have lost fantasygrounds. And it being an extension means having to deal with conflicts. Where Smiteworks could handle it much more elegantly on their end :(

Someone once asked "Is 2 to 3 seconds per roll really a big deal?"

Well if you consider a fight with 10 people. Each have 2 attacks and hit and do damage.
2s per roll avg.
That's 20 attack rolls, and 20 damage rolls. For a total of 40 rolls at 2s per roll. That's an extra 1 mins and 20s per round extra for no reason.
If you have a 10 round fight. That's an extra 13mins 15 seconds.
If you have 3 of these encounters a night. That's an extra 40mins.

40mins extra of a session that is literally just waiting for fake dice to give a result.
